Most visitors to Kolkata will take a trip in a tram car. As the iconic tram service completes its 150th anniversary this year, tram enthusiasts from the city, other parts of the country, and even from countries such as Germany and Australia, gathered to commemorate the momentous occasion. A parade held to mark the occasion featured vintage trams, including the century-old "Tram Scrubber', which was once used to clean the tracks.
