An hour's drive away from the busy hills of Ooty, Masinagudi is a picturesque but little-explored hill station in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiri district that is part of the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. It has the same climatic settings of Ooty but with more activities, offering a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The Theppakadu Elephant Camp, Moyar River, Mudumalai National Park, and Maravakandy Dam, which are popular attractions for Ooty and Coonoor, are located closer to Masinagudi.
