Lindsay Lohan has been making movies for more than 25 years, so she's accustomed to the often unglamorous grind of set life. But filming her latest project, the whimsical rom-com Irish Wish, didn't "feel like work," says Lohan, 37, "and that's really rare." A major part of the fun factor: Her husband, Bader Shammas, is an executive producer on the film, and her costars included her younger brother Dakota Lohan, 27, and one of her best friends, actress and cookbook author Ayesha Curry, 35, Says Lohan (who's also an executive producer): "It was really great to just be with everyone."
In the Netflix movie, filmed on location in Ireland, Lohan plays Maddie, a book editor secretly in love with her star author Paul (Alexander Vlahos). He, however, gets engaged to Maddie's friend Emma (Elizabeth Tan). At the destination wedding on the Emerald Isle, Maddie impulsively makes a wish that alters the fates of the trio. Curry, who plays bridesmaid Heather, says it's the type of movie where "you can get lost for 90 minutes and have a good laugh."
