For a guy who spent nearly 20 years helping romantic hopefuls on ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette find “the one,” Chris Harrison has always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to love at first sight. “It’s wonderful if it happens to you, but I’m not a big ‘I knew the moment I saw her’ kind of person,” he says. But when the former host, 52, started dating producer Lauren Zima in 2018, he admits, “it definitely hit me early on. My friends were like, ‘This is different, you are different. This girl has moved you.’” For Zima, 35, falling in love with Harrison came easy. “It just felt natural,” she says. “He’s the best partner, and I’m happy every day.”
Harrison and Zima celebrated their love with two weddings: first an “emotional, jubilant” ceremony in Napa Valley, Calif., on Oct. 14, followed by a “blowout bash” at a ranch in Austin on Nov. 4. “As much as we wanted an intimate weekend for our wedding ceremony in Napa, we also wanted to celebrate getting married with all the great friends we have,” says Zima. “Doing the second event in Austin [where the couple live full-time] gave us the ability to include all of our friends.”
