NEW DRAMA The Way Monday, 9pm, BBC1 (box set, BBC iPlayer)

Hollywood star Michael Sheen returns to the community where he grew up in dystopian BBC1 drama The Way.

Created by Sheen, Sherwood writer James Graham and documentary maker Adam Curtis, the three-part series is set in Port Talbot, a town built upon the local steel industry, and centres around an ordinary, working-class family, the Driscolls, who face losing everything when they're caught up in a violent protest.

The unrest begins when steel workers become increasingly suspicious of the factory's foreign owners and organise a strike that quickly develops into a mass demonstration.
