After 11 long seasons and multiple spin-offs, you might wonder what more zombie-horror saga The Walking Dead could have to offer. How about the unlikeliest of partnerships between the franchise’s sworn enemies, warrior widow Maggie and reformed villain Negan?
Ever since ultra-violent maniac Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bludgeoned her husband, Glenn, to death with a baseball bat in the seventh season, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) has wanted vengeance on the evil ex-cult leader. But now the pair are teaming up in a new spin-off, Dead City, and fans can’t wait to see how this toxic alliance will play out.
The six-part series rejoins Maggie as she desperately tries to find her now-teenage son Hershel (Logan Kim), who’s been kidnapped by the Croat (Zeljko Ivanek), an ex-member of Negan’s crew.
