A rekindled romance, a drunken pact and a moral dilemma are at the heart of new C4 drama Truelove.
The six-parter revolves around former teenage sweethearts Philippa 'Phil' Leach (played by Lindsay Duncan), a married ex-police chief enjoying a comfortable, if boring, retirement, and Ken Holding (Clarke Peters), a divorced ex-special- forces veteran, who cross paths again when they attend a friend's funeral.
