LATE NIGHT LYCETT LIVE FRIDAY, 10PM, C4 ENTERTAINMENT
Expect mayhem and mischief aplenty when Joe Lycett is unleashed live in a new Friday-night variety extravaganza. Filmed on the canal banks of his home city of Birmingham, five-part series Late Night Lycett will see the former host of The Great British Sewing Bee look back on the week's biggest stories with the help of local legends, LGBTQ+ heroes and celebrities.
'I'm looking forward to some "controlled" late-night chaos, smiles Joe, as he joins TV Times for a video interview.
Here, the comedian, 34, tells us more about the show...
How are you feeling ahead of your new series?
Absolutely psyched and nervous as it's starting to feel very real. I love the idea of doing a risky live show, though; it's been a dream of mine for years.
When I started doing stand-up my aspirations were just to get enough gigs to survive. I still pinch myself, thinking, This is my job!"
So what can viewers expect from the show?
