DAME HELEN MIRREN and HARRISON FORD on a new prequel to western Yellowstone

A huge hit on both sides of the Atlantic, modern-day western Yellowstone has charted the trials and tribulations of Montana rancher John Dutton III, played by Kevin Costner, across five seasons, as he battles various threats to the land and titular ranch that have been in his family for generations.

Now, a second prequel series, 1923, follows John's ancestors Jacob and Cara Dutton (Harrison Ford and Dame Helen Mirren) as they negotiate Prohibition, pandemics, drought and the Depression.

The first prequel spin-off, 1883, told the story of how James and Margaret Dutton, in Ye played by real-life couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, brought their family from Texas to settle in Yellowstone territory.
