World War Two is casting a shadow over Christmas 1939 in All Creatures Great and Small, but the residents of Skeldale House are still trying their best to celebrate.
The much-anticipated festive special of the hit Channel 5 drama finds tensions running high as fears grow about what the future may hold, but vet James Herriot (Nicholas Ralph) and wife Helen (Rachel Shenton) are marking their first Christmas as a married couple, while the presence of a spirited young evacuee brings joy to proceedings.
