Last August, Big Little Lies favourite Nicole Kidman was reunited with author Liane Moriarty and screenwriter David E Kelley when she headlined the eerie thriller Nine Perfect Strangers on Prime Video. For those who missed the star-spangled eightparter first time around, there’s now a chance to catch it again as it comes to C4 this week.

The series sees Nicole play Masha Dmitrichenko, the Russia-born director of wellness retreat Tranquillum House, who is all smiles as she welcomes nine city dwellers, all battling with their own demons, for a 10-day stay that aims to heal and transform them.

It soon becomes clear, however, that the luxurious resort is not what it seems, and the guests realise they have each been hand-selected by their enigmatic host, as part of a grand plan known only to her and her devoted staff.
