WINTER ON THE FARM
TUESDAY-FRIDAY, 8PM, CHANNEL 5 FACTUAL

As the colder months kick in, presenters Jules Hudson and Helen Skelton can't wait to discover how the residents of Cannon Hall Farm are faring as Channel 5 favourite Winter on the Farm returns.

‘If we're chilly, we can cuddle a lamb or pygmy goat and warm up!’ chuckles Jules, as a beaming Helen adds: ‘It’s a celebration of one of the best times of the year!’

The new run of the agricultural showcase, which will air over four consecutive nights this week, will once more explore how farming brothers Rob and Dave Nicholson are preparing their South Yorkshire holding for the captivating but challenging season that lies ahead.

Here, in an exclusive interview, Jules, 54, and Helen, 41 – who will also helm Christmas on the Farm later in December – tell TV Times more about what’s in store…

So, what’s happening this winter at Cannon Hall Farm?

HELEN What you do in winter prepares you for the spring – you’re making sure that the ground is right, so you can grow crops and look after the animals. Winter’s when you do the hard work, so we’ll see Rob and Dave muck-spreading!
