He’s one of the greatest rappers of all time, but Eminem says the accomplishment he’s most proud of is being a dad

A LYRICAL genius, a hip-hop god, rap royalty, the greatest of all time – these are but some of the things his adoring fans have called him over the years. But all the accolades fade in comparison to the one description of himself he holds most dear: that of girl dad.

Eminem’s music may delve deep into his troubled family life, his childhood struggles and his tumultuous relationship with his ex-wife, but when it comes to his girls, he’s nothing but tenderness and love.

So it’s not hard to imagine the pride he must have felt when he recently walked his eldest daughter, Alaina (30), down the aisle at her wedding to longtime boyfriend Matt Moeller.

Alaina was taken in by Eminem and his ex, Kim, after her mom, Dawn – Kim’s twin – died of a drug overdose in 2016.

Eminem once said. “Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”

No pictures emerged of the 50-year-old rapper at the wedding, leading some to speculate whether he was even there – but Alaina was quick to put people right about her adoptive father.

“I had an 80-foot-long black-and-white checkered aisle, and my dad walked me down the aisle,” she said. “He wasn’t going to miss that.”

Also supporting Alaina on her big day were her sisters, Hailie Jade (27), Eminem’s biological daughter, who was maid of honour, and Stevie Laine (21), the rapper’s other adopted daughter.

“These are once-in-a-lifetime moments and I’m just so grateful to be loved the way I am by every one,”

Alaina said. “None of this would’ve been possible without my dad. I’m beyond blessed.”
