Supposing that travelling far is not an option, there’s always a way to cosset yourself right in the city of Kuala Lumpur, even if just for a day. What difference can a day make? Plenty. Especially when you get to spend it at a happy place.
A GOLDEN LOCATION
Standing next to Petronas Twin Towers is Four Seasons Place, and together they form a trinity of skyscrapers in the heart of the Golden Triangle. The layout of the Four Seasons Place is a rectangular matrix with interesting tetrominoes, much like the game Tetris, where amenities are arranged orthogonally and reflection symmetry is visible, offering an optimum way to best fit everything—private residences, a hotel and a shopping mall—while also promoting a sense of balance. For colours, imperial blue, gold and neutrals weave and blend into this ritzy matrix.
A ROOM WITH A VIEW
“Big” is the first word that swims in the headspace when entering the room in Four Seasons Place. Curtains are drawn open and the sunny KLCC Park is in full view. A living area with attention to details, furnished with sofa, smart TV, speedy Wi-Fi, then elsewhere a walk-in closet attached to a majestic bathroom, finest bed linens and a writing desk well stocked with customised stationery. On the coffee table, fresh flowers and irresistible local kuih to win over cold hearts.
It’s no secret that KLCC Park is always crowded and it’s quite a show when the pretty fountain lights up at night. However, seeing the park from this vantage point, through oversized glass windows with a smart automated curtain system while lying in bed, it’s a different kind of observation. Now and then, playing tourist in your own town is fun. The panoramic windows are not the only smart feature here, as personal comfort and cleansing are pushed through the intelligence scale with Kohler’s luxury and smart washroom essentials (not something you can find in many hotels).
