There are various ways in which Sham Jewellers tries to make sure that their staff feels encouraged to continue the good work that they have been doing all these years. As they scale up, a systemic approach is what has helped them create sustainability. Gagan Khurana and Harinder Singh Khurana tell us about their team and how they manage hundreds of people working under their brand, Sham Jewellers.

From the beginning till now, how did you grow from a few people to a team of hundreds of people?

It takes few to start the sparkle that lights the fire of success. We began our journey of jewels with just a handful of wonderful hires, working together as equals, towards goals of customer satisfaction and growth of the business, laying down a humble yet strong foundation. This led to a wholesome progression, with development of trust consequently bringing in an increasing footfall, which demanded the expansion of the Sham family. And what followed was a steady, sustainable and consistent rise, which led us to where we are today.

Each member of the team has a role to play, which must be respected and appreciated to achieve impeccability. Just like smooth-running machinery, a productive business is the result of seamless simultaneous efforts of each and every player of a team.
