Such is the story of Rajinder Singh, a humble man with a lion's heart, and his daughter, Minreet, a budding journalist with a passion for storytelling. In conversation with Urban Melange, Rajinder and Minreet share their experiences, from the initial spark of inspiration to the ripple effect of positivity that ensued.
What inspired you to start skipping during lockdown?
I have always skipped but in lockdown I wanted to do something different and help others and my daughter said let’s start the skipping challenge and raise money for the NHS.
How did you feel when your daughter, Minreet, decided to share your story with the world?
I felt shy, as I’m a humble person and don’t like to show off. I was touched that it inspired so many people.
