Having shown previously at some of the most surreal locations in the world, Nicolas Ghesquière truly has a flair for the dramatic. Over his decade-long tenure as creative director at Louis Vuitton, he has presented collections at Palm Springs, the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro and Louis Kahn's Salk Institute in San Diego to name a few.
The cruise 2024 show was no different, with the venue located within the terraced gardens of Isola Bella, a private island on Lake Maggiore that has belonged to Italy's Borromeo clan for 500 years. Its picturesque setting drives home the idea of a fantasy destination.
