Longchamp's recently revamped New Bond Street store is designed to evoke the feeling of stepping into a Parisian apartment (the brand was founded in the French capital in 1948). 'It's a bit of a mix of everything: the art that you bought, the vintage pieces that you got from your grandparents, souvenirs and family photos,' says UK and Ireland managing director Hector Cassegrain, who would know: he is a Parisian transplant in London himself.
