A 50-year-old female patient from Nashik suffering with hypothyroidism and hypertension, abdominal presented with distension and sudden weight gain over the past two months. Upon examination, a massive 20*30 cm lump was discovered in the lower abdomen, occupying the entire abdominal cavity. The surgical team led by Dr Vikas Jain, Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology and Dr Raj Nagarkar, Director of Surgical Oncology, meticulously removed the tumour intact, ensuring no spillage of tumour tissue into the body.
Immediately post-operation, the patient experienced significant relief from the abdominal heaviness and discomfort, and returned home happily just three days after the surgery. "When the patient visited us, the tumour was notably large and heavily vascularized, occupying the entire abdomen.
