KATE'S TOUGH DECISION OVER GEORGE

It seems only yesterday that the Prince and Princess of Wales beamed with pride as they presented their first born to the world on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital. But having recently turned 10, Prince George is growing up fast and his parents will soon have an important decision to make about his future – which could cause some major heartache for Kate.

The youngster will enter year six this September, meaning it’s little over a year before a choice needs to be made over his secondary education. And with the Prince recently spotted looking around Eton College with his parents, questions have been raised as to whether little George will follow in his father’s footsteps and be enrolled to board at the prestigious school.

While the school is near the family’s home, Windsor’s Adelaide Cottage, royal tradition has seen heirs to the throne board. William boarded at Eton and King Charles was sent to Scotland’s Gordonstoun to board, like his own father, Prince Philip, had before him. So will the Princess of Wales – who so far has been determined to raise her children differently – see herself faced with a heartbreaking decision to send her oldest child away? Or will she shun tradition and choose a different path?
