KIM KARDASHIAN, 42, is no stranger to diet controversy, but the lengths she went to, to lose weight for the 2022 Met Gala, was a step too far. The reality star lost 16lb in three weeks in order to fit into the dress Marilyn Monroe wore to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to JFK in 1962.
And while there’s no doubt she looked amazing, Kim’s comments caused outrage. She admitted, ‘[I] completely cut out all sugar and all carbs’, adding she only ate the ‘cleanest veggies and protein’. Kim only wore the dress to walk the red carpet before changing into a replica so we can’t help thinking, was it worth it?
