Ghee is considered as the finest food in Ayurveda for use in and out, and for rituals like Yajna.
An Ayurveda therapist checked his patient's colon, now as dry as a drought-stricken, barren land, and immediately put him on the 'Ghee therapy, which meant Ghee for internal consumption and outer application. Before serving Sabji, or Roti/chapati, or Dal a teaspoonful of Ghee was added, well mixed with the food, and voila, the patient who disliked Dal, slurped it up, to the therapist's delight. Within days, the therapy responded and the colon functioned normally.
