In the Yoga Shastra, it is clearly stated that if Iemotions are to be brought about (they will come anyway), they have to be given a direction because they are the cause of all our unhappiness and they will drown us. Fear, tension, anxiety all come under emotions. The formula for eradicating fear is faith. God is there. He is all-knowing. Whatever good has to happen, will happen. So the faith element has to be strong. To make it strong, an individual will have to take a look at his or her entire life until date - what kind of life is going on, how it is going on, etc. So many problems, so many uncertainties have come in the past, but all of them have been solved.
If I start thinking my way, if I start considering from my angle what is success or failure, then the problem starts. The point is that there is nothing like “my/mine”, nothing like “my angle of looking at life”. When you feel hundred percent that’s it, that is how it should be, that a particular problem should have these fixed factors in them; when that state comes when you are hundred percent confident that something definite is going to happen, God creates a situation to show you that there is something beyond your thinking and your entire theory is toppled over.
