BROIL 4 minutes
1. In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic over medium until meat is browned; drain off any fat.
2. Stir in next six ingredients (through pepper). Bring to boiling. Stir in ziti. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until ziti is tender, 20 minutes.
3. Preheat broiler. Spread Alfredo sauce over pasta mixture. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat, rotating skillet as needed for even browning, until sauce is bubbly and starts to brown, 4 to 5 minutes. If you like, top with additional oregano. Makes 4 servings.
