HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN PORTGLENONE?
I’m a home bird and have lived in Portglenone my whole life! Portglenone is a small village that sits beside the River Bann, ten miles from Ballymena. Belfast and the beautiful North Coast are both only a 40-minute drive away.
HOW DOES PORTGLENONE COMPARE TO OTHER PLACES YOU HAVE VISITED?
I love travelling and exploring new places but there’s nowhere quite like home. I love the warmth and friendliness of the people in Portglenone.
HAS PORTGLENONE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS?
Portglenone offers so much more than it used to. In terms of the food scene, there’s now a great choice of restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops within the village and just a short drive away.
WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND SHOPPING FOR INTERIORS?
Dougans Furniture has a great selection of furniture and home décor. A little further afield, Carsons of Duneane has some beautiful pieces of furniture and stylish home accessories for all tastes.
