The homeowners wanted a better flow to the surrounding areas, as well as improved storage options and an overall fresher and lighter atmosphere. Previously, the only storage was high cupboards with very little drawer space, making it impractical for a busy family. There was also an existing fish tank that they wanted to keep in the same spot but incorporated into the new design.
