Re-outfit the existing cabinetry if you're looking for a quick and simple solution - for example, when the budget is tight or if you've moved into a new home and want to upgrade the space before deciding to undertake any structural work. There are many ways to do this, though painting the cupboards is one of the most cost-effective routes to achieving a whole new look. However, for that unique flair, you could paint them in different shades or add a pop of colour inside or even replace some of the front panels with glass that you can display a lovely fabric behind. Adding your own individual touch to the kitchen in this way might even convince you to put off major or longer-term alterations.
