Dramatic lighting and striking décor have been used to great effect in this contemporary family home. The owner wanted a home they could live in without feeling concerned about sitting somewhere that was out of bounds.
A neutral colour palette was chosen to create a calm, minimalist backdrop, and the interior designer incorporated furniture with clean lines in keeping with the contemporary feel.
From the street, a steel screen conceals the home's interior design with its open-plan living area.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area has a diningroom table that can comfortably seat 12 at family gatherings. A covered patio creates more space for entertaining around the patio and pool.
