There were 947,300 multiple- job holders in March (or 6.6% of the population) – nearly 20,000 more than in December last year, according to ABS data released in August.
Of these multiple-job holders, 7.7% were employed women, compared with 5.7% of employed men. Young workers were most likely to be working multiple jobs (8.9% of 20- to 24-year-olds and 7.9% of 15- to 19-year-olds).
