The speakers deliver decent audio quality, though the treble could be clearer. The phone's reversed layout for its volume rocker and power buttons can take some getting used to, especially if you're accustomed to a conventional layout. This design choice might lead to some initial fumbling, but it's a minor inconvenience that users can adapt to over time. The Pixel 8a is powered by the same Google Tensor G3 chipset found in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pre, ensuring fluid and efficient performance,Google Pixel 8a matching the capabilities of its flagship counterparts.
It handles everyday tasks with ease and supports advanced AI functions without lag.

In benchmarks, the Pixel 8a performed admirably, holding its own against other midrange and flagship-lite competitors. The Pixel 8a supports all the AI features found in the flagship models, including Magic Editor tools like Best Take and Photo Unblur, and the new Circle To Search by Google. These features enhance productivity and photo editing capabilities, making the phone highly functional.
Could use a little more smarts when handling drastic contrast, but its colour reproduction and detail retention are just amazing.
