Veteran designer Manish Arora is reinventing himself, one food pop-up at a time in Paris. He first experimented with the idea in 2020 just after people had started eating out again. At his latest pop-up at Desi Road, an Indian restaurant located at a stone’s throw from Pont Neuf, Manish is serving popular North Indian dishes like paratha with tomato chutney, vegetarian samosas and dahi papdi chaat [a spicy chickpea and potato snack], the recipes of which came from his mother, aunts and cousins.
