Objectives of the Scheme
The Yuva Srujan Puraskar serves several key purposes:
To honor young artists for their exceptional contribution to Goan art and culture.
To recognize outstanding achievements in specific artistic disciplines such as music, dance, drama, folk art, literature, and more.
To identify and encourage emerging talent, establishing these individuals as the Youth Artists of Goa.
How is this Scheme Beneficial?
The Yuva Srujan Puraskar offers several tangible benefits to the awardees:
Financial Support: Each awardee receives a sum of 25,000 as recognition for their outstanding contributions.
Cultural Recognition: The award is presented in various artistic fields, including Music/Dance, Drama/Tiatr, Folk Art, Photography/Painting, Craft, Sculpture, Bhajan/Kirtan, Literature, and Film. A maximum of six individuals from these fields are chosen each year.
Enhanced Visibility: By receiving this award, artists gain exposure, helping them expand their audience and open doors to future opportunities in their respective fields.
