Now that MasterChef is over for another season - signalling the late Jock Zonfrillo's final television appearance - Network 10 is finally ready to have conversations about the cooking show's future.

With ratings remaining strong, TV insiders say finding someone who has the same chemistry Jock shared with fellow judges Andy Allen and Melissa Leong is going to be a mammoth task.

"It's likely Andy and Mel will stick together when they make their decision," reveals our source. "Whether they make the difficult choice to leave or soldier on with a new face by their side, they'll both be on the same page."
