His 60th birthday is right around the corner – next week, in fact! – but Brad Pitt is in no mood to celebrate.

Sources tell New Idea that the milestone feels like an “unwanted cherry” topping off what has been “such a tough year” for the actor.

“Celebrating himself is the last thing Brad feels like doing,” says a long-time pal. “From his ongoing divorce and court battles to his movies flopping, life’s just not going his way.”

Recently, in an attempt to cheer himself up, Brad purchased a $300,000 electric Porsche Taycan which is considered one of the fastest cars on the market. However, sources reckon the present could be a telltale sign Brad’s in the midst of a midlife crisis.

“A new car always makes him happy, if only for a short time,” explains the insider.
