One thing Bruce Willis can take small comfort in as he faces his devastating dementia diagnosis is being surrounded by an incredible group of strong women.

The actor’s wife, ex-wife and five daughters have united as one force to nurse the 67-year-old through the next stages of his debilitating illness.

With the approval of Bruce’s current spouse Emma Hemming, it was first wife, Demi Moore, who announced the action hero had recently been diagnosed with

frontotemporal dementia – a progressive brain condition. It came after the family shared news of Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in 2022.

“[His] condition has progressed,” Demi, 60, explained on Instagram. “Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
