I don’t eat out a lot. I don’t mind paying for something that you’d say, “Gee, that was a great meal!” but I very often don’t feel like that. The last meal out I had was at an Indian restaurant and the entrees were all about $8.50. The bill at the end of the night was huge. I thought, “I could’ve fed the eight of us for a week for that!”

My freezer is packed to the rafters with things I’ve bought marked down. I’ll pick up whatever is on special. There’s a chicken that had $5 off, a piece of pork that was $7 off. I just put them in the freezer and then get them out when the kids are over. I have some cutlets I bought when they were marked right down, I’ll crumb those all at once – always with panko crumbs.
