Earlier this year, a father from Bankstown in Sydney's south-west I was the envy of the country when he scooped the entire $100 million Powerball draw. It was the second-biggest Powerball win in Australia, but the man was convinced lottery officials had the wrong person when they revealed the life-changing news.

It's a feeling Cairns local Cliff Little knows all too well. He won a $40 million Powerball jackpot four years ago.

Cliff could barely comprehend his win as he watched his numbers appear one after the other.
