Australian radio’s most powerful duo, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and Kyle Sandilands, have been approached to move from Australian Radio Network to rival broadcaster, Southern Cross Austereo. But for the first time in a long time, the KIIS 1065 stars are not on the same (air) wavelength about it!
The extremely popular, but very controversial, pair are in the final 18 months of their lucrative ARN contract, worth an estimated $8 million-a-year each. Now their former network, SCA, is said to be “aggressively pursuing” Kyle and Jackie to come back to them.
However, sources at ARN insist the big bosses will do anything to keep the pair and continue their radio domination.
Adding to the high-stakes negotiations is the fact The Kyle & Jackie O Show reportedly brings in upwards of $50 million each year in revenue, making the pair highly desirable to any station head.
