O.J. SIMPSON TRIAL 'THE VERDICT STILL HURTS'

In the moments before the O.J. Simpson trial reached its verdict in a Los Angeles court on October 3, 1995, Kim Goldman held hope she would get justice for her elder brother.

Simpson, then 48, stood accused of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, 35, and waiter Ron Goldman, 25, in a case that involved incriminating evidence against the ex-NFL star.

But in the televised ‘trial of the century’, the jury gave not guilty verdicts.

“I remember collapsing and crying,” tells Kim. “And seeing [Simpson’s] face. It was gross. I felt betrayed.”

Twenty-five years on, Kim, 48, is using her pain to help others.
