ADELAIDE COTTAGE IS GETTING A REVAMP
ROYAL STYTLE!

Forget grandiose ballrooms and sparkling chandeliers, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ family base is about to become something more akin to the set of The Block!

According to reports, William, 41, and Kate, 42, are planning major renovations to their Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage. The revamp is to better accommodate their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, who is six this week.

The family moved into the four-bedroom cottage in 2022. They currently split their time between it and their sprawling Anmer Hall property on the Sandringham Estate.

Wills and Kate opted to relocate to Adelaide Cottage from Kensington Palace in London as it is a short distance from the children’s school. It was built in 1831 for Queen Adelaide.

“They absolutely adore Adelaide Cottage, but it only just fits the entire family, whereas Anmer Hall is much larger with extensive grounds,” a source disclosed to OK!.

“Adelaide Cottage is being used as a term-time property while the children are at school nearby, while Anmer Hall is for long weekends and holidays.

Wills and Kate are now planning to transform a dilapidated redbrick annexe on the property into a retreat for family and staff.
