In celebration of Mother’s Day, PRESTIGE joins hands with Sulwhasoo to honour the women who’ve helped shape us to be the people we are today and cheered us on along the way. Personifying that special bond between mother and child are Malaysian influencer and entrepreneur, Shalma Ainaa, and her mother, Khairul Bariah, as they explore how a simple self-care ritual has evolved into a cherished familial moment over time. And, yes, both are fervent enthusiasts of Sulwhasoo.

EVERLASTING LOVE

“My mum used to do her skincare every evening,” recalls Shalma, her mother by her side. They sit together in the studio where the campaign video is being filmed, quietly regaling memories of the past as the video team moves around them and their hair and makeup get touched up. “And since there were only girls in the house, we would actually crowd around her and watch her apply all these creams and lotions to her face, and I really think it left an impact on me.”
