Initially going by the name Swiss Open when it was first played in 1923, the high-altitude golf competition has since been rebranded as the Omega Masters, a change that took place in 2001 when Omega secured naming rights.
Having remained at the same venue since 1939, it holds the distinction of being the longest-standing golf tournament in Europe played on the same course annually. This year, it was once again played at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, taking place from 31 August to 3 September.
