At the end of the latest 007 movie No Time to Die, James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, seemed to meet his untimely end. What happens now to Omega’s collaboration with the character and the film franchise?

I often get asked about this and I always answer: I don’t know, but I know that what [James Bond] had on his wrist definitely didn’t explode or get destroyed; I’m sure we’ll find this watch again. I’m also sure we’ll find James Bond again … and I don’t imagine James Bond without an Omega watch.

Tell us more about the collaborative watch celebrating the 60th anniversary of 007 films.

The Seamaster Diver 300M 60 Years of James Bond links to [the design codes of ] the No Time to Die watch [the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition], and we send a very strong message with the dial, the colour and the bracelet, but on the back of the watch is something very special: a constant animation that celebrates one of the most iconic scenes of the James Bond legacy.

This anniversary watch won’t be a limited edition, and Omega is known for its emphasis on accessibility as opposed to deliberate exclusivity. Will this stance evolve?
