The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Happy Wednesday nights offer music and gourmet experiences alongside horseracing curating the ideal experience for a mid-week night out.
Taking on a Gallic theme throughout May, The Hong Kong Jockey Club partnered with the French May Arts Festival and the French Gour May Food and Wine Festival to bring guests the sights, sounds and tastes of France in the heart of Happy Valley.
The racecourse's Beer Garden is a popular spot for guests wanting to revel in the electrifying atmosphere of the races. Exclusively for Happy French Wednesday, the space was decorated with landmarks from Paris including the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, encouraging guests to take Instagram-worthy shots between races. A specially designed food truck served Provençal beef stew and Basque chicken with rice, along with bar booths pouring wines from well-known regions Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence, Côtes du Rhône and more.
