The Aquanaut collection, introduced by Patek Philippe in 1997, is one of the brand’s most recognisable and popular collections to date. In order to cater to more women who desire both style and functionality in their timepieces, the Swiss manufacture launched the Aquanaut Luce in 2004. This collection retained the signature elements of the Aquanaut line but incorporated more feminine touches, such as vibrant colours and refined gemsetting techniques, and came in sizes that were better suited to smaller wrists. Still a popular choice among women as well as men today, the Aquanaut Luce timepieces often feature diamonds and other precious stones, elevating them into the realm of haute joaillerie while maintaining their sporty essence.
