A WINING COMBINATION
With the design community calling it the collaboration 'we didn't know we needed', Vikram Goyal Studio and de Gournay, the creators of the world's finest hand-painted wallpapers have come together and created a limited edition of gilded wallpapers. Launched in November, designer Vikram Goyal has created three exquisite designs that reference repoussé metal, offering a novel take on de Gournay's traditional hand-painted motifs. Goyal's designs were transformed into stunning bas-relief scenes on gilded paper by de Gournay. The Garden of Life collection pays homage to the splendour of the Silk Road; Harmony of the Heavens wallpaper reflects the astral observatories of India; while Dreamscape collection depicts a range of auspicious symbols of good luck and faith, from the 17th-century manuscript Book of Dreams.
