Q What have been the focus areas and the achievements at IIM Sambalpur this year?

MPJ: IIM Sambalpur is dedicated towards creating a culture of inclusion, diversity, and productivity. The achievements at IIM Sambalpur can be discussed across parameters such as academic performance, skill development, entrepreneurial ventures, research and innovation, placement performance, and of course, community engagement.

Q What are the achievements on the academic front?

MPJ: IIM Sambalpur has been able to achieve holistic growth in terms of quality of infrastructure and human capital. All achievements are a result of consistent efforts directed towards the vision of the institute.

In terms of the infrastructure, the campus of IIM Sambalpur symbolizes the local art and culture of Sambalpur. The infrastructure is not just a representation of the landscape or the culture, it is a homage to the affectionate bond with the community. The campus has 16 state of the art, smart classrooms that can host blended classroom learning sessions.

IIM Sambalpur has introduced flipped classrooms to promote experiential learning in the class. The technologically advanced classrooms allow us to connect with students, researchers, and academicians globally. The well-equipped infrastructure supports pedagogical innovations in experiential learning.
