A Legacy of Education and Empowerment: The Journey of Blue Mount English High School Over Five Decades

"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself." -John Dewey

He established an organization that would go on to influence the lives of many impoverished youngsters by giving them the means to a better future. This organization started in the modest setting of his house and eventually blossomed into a beacon of hope and enlightenment for the people it served.

From the beginning, the school's main goal was to improve education for society's impoverished children while also giving aspiring educators chances to share their expertise and give back to the local community. The school blossomed under the visionary leadership of Manik Chandra Biswas, with a committee led by ardent supporters of the founder's principles. His unshakable commitment laid the groundwork for the school's long-lasting influence on succeeding generations.

High temperatures and extreme levels of humidity ensure we go to work in mulmul salwars, cotton pants, or, if you are lucky like me, wear shorts every day.
