The Tanzanian international joined Dale on a twoyear contract on Monday after rejecting “a very competitive new deal” to stay at Wealdstone.
Allarakhia, 26, established himself as a fans’ favourite at Grosvenor Vale after making 76 appearances for the Stones in two seasons.
In January, he made his senior international debut for Tanzania, against Egypt – and Mo Salah – in a friendly, before being selected for the Africa Cup of Nations, as the Taifa Stars narrowly missed out on advancing to the knockout stages.
“We are delighted to have secured the signature of Tarryn,” McNulty said of the former Leyton Orient trainee, who arrived at Wealdstone via spells at Maldon & Tiptree, Colchester United, Crawley Town and Woking.
