The District Registrar of Cooperative Housing Societies (DR) in the city has issued an exemplary punitive order disqualifying the Chairman and Secretary of the Ghatlodia-based Shastrinagar Cooperative Housing Society for a year.
The DR issued the order following an application filed by the society members accusing Chairman Narsinh Patel and Secretary Prakash Shah of abusing their power by not calling a special general meeting for the members of the society.
